For drivers

From booked to back on the road.

You book online. MM AutoTracker texts you at every stage after that — so you never sit on hold, never chase a callback, never wonder where your car is. Zero phone tag, start to finish.

MM AutoTracker

Six stops. Zero phone calls.

Every repair follows the same painted line, and AutoTracker texts you at each stop. Here’s the whole road, booking to pickup.

Book online

Pick your shop, then pick a time from its real open hours — not a request form that dies in an inbox. The slot you tap is the slot you get.

MechanicMe: You’re booked — Thu 8:30 AM at Othello Street Automotive, 4200 S Othello St. Reply CHANGE to reschedule.

Reminder texts

Fifteen minutes before your appointment, AutoTracker gives you a nudge. No sticky notes on the dashboard, no missed slots.

MechanicMe: Your appointment begins in 15 minutes. Tap for details and directions.

Arrive & tap

One tap tells the crew you’re here. Slip your mind? Five minutes in, your mechanic gets a confirm link too — either way, the timeline stays honest.

MechanicMe: If you’ve arrived, tap below to let your service member know you’re here.

You: Here — keys are in the drop box.

Priority of truth: if your tap and the mechanic’s T+5 confirmation ever disagree, the mechanic’s response wins.

Diagnosis & photo estimate

Your mechanic writes it up with photos of the actual parts on your actual car. The estimate lands on your phone, itemized, before any wrench turns.

MechanicMe: Diagnosis is in — front pads at 2 mm, rotors within spec. 2 photos attached. Review your estimate to approve.

Approve from your phone

One tap to approve. One tap to decline. No work starts without your yes, and nobody has to make an awkward call.

You: Approved — go ahead with the pads.

Repair, ready, pickup

You get a text the moment the job’s done, and the final bill matches the estimate you approved. Grab your keys and go.

MechanicMe: All done — your car is ready. Pay from this text or at the counter, open until 6 PM.

Before the first text

Booking in two minutes.

Step 01

Pick your shop

Sort by ICC score, filter by neighborhood, service, or language at the counter. The stripes tell you who your neighbors trust.

Step 02

Pick your time

Slots come straight from the shop’s real open hours, live. If you can tap it, it’s yours — no “we’ll call you back.”

Step 03

Get your confirmation

A text lands on the spot with your shop, slot, and address. AutoTracker takes it from there.

Fine print, big font

Questions drivers actually ask.

What does booking cost me?

Nothing. Drivers never pay to use MechanicMe — not to search, not to book, not for AutoTracker texts. Shops pay a network fee to be listed, and their ICC score can’t be bought either way.

Can I decline an estimate?

Yes, with one tap and no phone call. You owe only the diagnostic fee the shop quoted when you booked — it’s on the booking screen before you confirm. Declining never affects your standing, and it never surprises anyone: the shop just gets a text too.

What if the shop finds something else mid-repair?

New work means a new estimate. It arrives the same way the first one did — itemized, with photos — and nothing extra happens to your car until you approve it. The final bill always matches the sum of what you said yes to.

How do scores affect the listings?

Shops are ranked by their ICC score: 50 points for inclusion, 50 for customer satisfaction, zero for price. No shop can pay to move up. See how the score is painted.

What if I need a loaner or a ride?

Plenty of network shops offer loaner cars, shuttles, or transit vouchers — it’s part of what the satisfaction score measures. Each shop’s profile lists what it offers, so you can pick a shop that fits how you get around.

What do AutoTracker texts look like?

Short, plain, and only when something changes: booking confirmed, 15-minute reminder, arrival check-in, estimate ready, work approved, car ready. Standard message rates apply, and replying STOP ends the texts without cancelling your appointment.

Wheels up

Next stop: a shop you trust.

Every shop on the network books this way and texts this way. All that’s left is picking yours.
